“Pinocchio,” written by Carlo Collodi, tells the story of a wooden puppet carved by a poor woodcarver named Geppetto. Pinocchio magically comes to life and dreams of becoming a real boy. However, he is mischievous and frequently gets into trouble due to his tendency to lie and make poor decisions. Each time Pinocchio lies, his nose grows longer. Throughout his adventures, he encounters various characters, including the wise and kind Blue Fairy who guides him, and a series of dubious figures who lead him astray.

Through his experiences, Pinocchio learns valuable lessons about honesty, bravery, and selflessness. Ultimately, his good deeds and genuine desire to improve lead to him being transformed into a real boy, fulfilling his and Geppetto’s greatest wish.

A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE STORY OF PINOCCHIO

“The Adventures of Pinocchio” is a novel written by Italian author Carlo Collodi. It was first serialized in the children’s magazine “Giornale per i bambini” from 1881 to 1883 and later published as a book in 1883. The story follows the adventures of a wooden puppet named Pinocchio, carved by a poor woodcarver named Geppetto.
