#7 38 Hz Hack: Make a Photo Book

There are a lot of photo-project resources available for making photo books.  I have used SnapFish for mine.  In the featured image, I’m showing you the covers of two of my projects.  The black and white photo is from a book I made of a friend’s mom who had passed away.  I snooped around on her Facebook pages, as well as on her relatives’ pages, snagged photos, and created this very special book.

The second colored image is a family cookbook I made.  Here’s how that project went.  My mom, niece, and I hosted a wedding shower for my nephew and his fiancée.  I asked people to bring their favorite dish and to provide the recipe for it.  I then made this family recipe book as Christmas gifts for about 20 family members the following Christmas.

In the first book, I used as-is photos.  In the recipe book, I actually used the app Photo-Lab to create artistic versions of the photos.  Also find the app by searching on your smartphone.
